Panissières / Feurs

A beautiful stopover in the heart of the Loire...

When you stay at the Le Tisseur des Saveurs hotel in Panissières, you're ideally located just 40 minutes from Saint-Etienne, 35 minutes from Roanne and 45 minutes from Lyon. It's an ideal location for exploring the region and visiting the Matagrin Tower in Violay (10 minutes from Panissières).

Panissières lies on an ancient road that linked two provinces: Forez and Beaujolais. Over the centuries, the old walled village has been transformed into a modern town with a high level of industrial, agricultural, commercial, craft and tourist activity. The textile industry, which has played an ever-present role in the history of Panissières, has shaped the town's typical architecture, with its many workshops and manor houses. As well as offering a multitude of walks, Panissières has a picturesque heritage as diverse as the monorail and the Tie and Textile Museum.
